Candy

Thomas is my self-starter. He thinks of ideas he wants to try out and then he makes it happen. He’s always been that way. So the other day when he said he wanted to make candy, like gummy bears, I just asked what we needed. He’d already looked in the cabinets to see what we had and what we would need to get. I didn’t have any unflavored gelatin in the house and my one box of jello was expired. (ha!) So the next day when I was able to get what he needed, he made candy. I didn’t have any bear molds in the house so he used some of my flexible ice trays.

The candy was a huge success and it was gone by the next day.

He made two flavors, blue whatever, and orange.

This kid’s creativity knows no bounds! He’s also been making replica magic wands, like you might get if you were into Harry Potter or that kind of thing. They’re of such nice quality we’re considering giving in to his begging of us to open an Etsy store.
